Luigi Moraldi, Manlio Sgalambro: a theological mirror and a conference which never happened

Exploring Intellectual Dialogues in Academicus Journal.

Highlights from Academicus Journal Issue 31.

Importance of Gnostic and Agnostic Thought in Contemporary Society.

*

I’m really proud to be part of this number 31 of Academicus International Scientific Journal. I believe that the Director, Madame Arta Musaraj,  is carrying on a very important work. I trust the editorial line can give a very clear information and a recognized and qualified space for high-rank thought.

In add, I have the privilege to be inside this Journal’ issue, with an article which tells about a meeting that should have been occurred between Luigi Moraldi – the main Italian translator of Qumran and Nag-Hamadi manuscripts (apocryphal of the Ancient and New Testament / Testi Gnostici) – and professor Manlio Sgalambro – a theologian very famous for his books (among these: Trattato dell’Empietà, De Mundo Pessimo) and even for his cooperation with the mystic, artist and composer Franco Battiato.

As I tell in the article, the meeting didn’t happen. Nevertheless, the exchange of communication between the Gnostic and the Agnostic one, is highly meaningful. That’s in reason of its internal strength, being able to touch some central themes important still today our contemporary evolution of consciousness. I hope you will read the article that you will find as the last one in this ISJ number 31.

Regards,
