Win €1000 and the chance to be published

The deadline for entries for the Jean Blondel Prize for the best PhD thesis is Tuesday 1 February. Submissions should be made in PDF format and e-mailed to Laura Pugh (lpugh).

The thesis must have been examined and passed between 1 January 2011 and 31 December 2011. However, the doctorate need not have been officially conferred during this period. The topic of the thesis should fit broadly within the field of political science and political thought. For more details about entry requirements please click here.

The winner of the Prize will be announced on 30 September 2012. The successful candidate will be awarded €1000 and the offer* to publish the revised thesis as a monograph with the ECPR Press. The winner will receive the Prize at the ECPR Joint Sessions in 2013. A full list of previous Prize winners can be found here.
