Cogknow has created a home and mobile environment in order to help persons with mild dementia and first stages of Alzheimers to live independent and safe lives. Together with our partners from eight different European countries a solution was created, tested and improved in three consecutive years with participation from people with dementia and their carers. . Cogknow has also a mobile component that becomes active out of the home and can be used with a combination of location-tracking software to navigate the person back home should they get lost. This important event in Malta will now focus on the commercialisation of the service and our aim is to involve businesses and investors from Europe that are working in this telecare and ehealth area. We want to establish a business opportunity together in order to move forward from demonstration to finished service offering using the Cogknow technology that can be deployed across Europe. Around 50 people are anticipated to attend the event and the format will be focused on addressing business need, using round table discussions and workshops. There will also be a demo area where we will prepare a home-like environment in order to showcase Cogknow to the attendees.
